The Pasta Maker will incorporate the basil growing at The Farm when it is in season. Everything at The Farm is grown using organic methods and as with homegrown produce, has more flavor when compared to that which is commercially grown.
Our Pesto Alla Genovese is made following the classic, traditional Italian recipe from Genoa. It contains only fresh basil, toasted pine nuts, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, Parmesan and Pecorino cheese.
Pesto Alla Genovese is best served simply combined with pasta such as 'trofie'.
